AFV Club's Bussing Nag L4500S ... Truckin' !

Hey Peeps,

Back after a long absence from the bench .. I'm hittin it hard ! Here is AFV Club's 4x2 Bussing Nag L4500S. I've added Voyager's P.E. set for it & DEF Model's Weighted wheel set. These Wheels from DEF are th shit !! Awesome fit. You even use some kit parts for a strong attachment to th Truck !

Here's a good shot of the front Tires from DEF. Lookin' Phat ! Also you can see the Radiator/Hod quilted cover from Panzer Art !! Awesome detail !!

Lookin' mean ! I'm almost 1/2 tempted to make this a Fire Truck ! It just looks Bad Ass !

Thanx for th kind words. Yes ! Th Quilted Hood cover is from Panzer Art ! Awesome detail. Can't wait to weather it & getting it too pop ! The Truck overall will have a dilapidated White Wash !!

I've ordered from Dragon Hobby many times. Awesome service !! Fortunately They are an hour up th road in Northern Va, so I get Their stuff in a day , but Check them out !! They are stacked with stuff !! - I'm just a happy customer.

LuPanzer - Thank you for th kind words Brotha !! It's good to see ya & I've missed your work Brotha !! Th Tires are from DEF Models. I got those from Sprue Brothers !! They are Stacked on DEF wheels !! These Wheels are a Dream to work with !! They even use Kit parts to get them on th Truck !! That makes for a very sturdy application !

Thanx for th kind words ! I super glued th boxes to th underside of th bed & have shot th primer & paint & doing a lil' pin wash & some mud & dirt ...... I'll post some pix tomorrow & those of the Wheels !!

Here's something that may be familiar to you guys. I've taken th wrapper from a Klondike Ice Cream bar ( It has texture on it) "Upholstered" the Kit Seat & Back rest. Then shooting it with Vallejo Panzer Grey Primer, Dry Brushed with Black, High lighted with Grey Black, scuffed & scratched with Vallejo Leather Belt.

The Floor Board was shot with Vallejo Panzer Grey Primer, Highlighted with AMMO Panzer Grey + Creme Weiss. Then weathered & pin washed with Dark Mud, Kursk Earth, & Damp Earth - done in layers, sealing between each successive layer. FInally Steel Pigment was dry brushed across th tops of the tread plate.

These Door ! :bat I fillied th Big Ejector pin marks with Mr. Dissolved Putty & sanded smooth. The Door handle is a kit part & th Window Crank from th Voyager PE set.

The Holders for the Hoops that hold up the Canopy are from Voyager . Meticulous ! We'll see how well these stay on through th Paint & Weathering !!

I'm in th process of weathering the Under side of the Bed - as it would be tough to do with it mounted on the Frame of the truck. I'll post pix of that when She's finished & dry !!
