Thanks you gents. Here is some more of the turret with about 50 more pieces added to it. I thought building ships and planes got down to minutae! This thing has styrene hinge pins in scale, well sorta scale.

I'm still banging away at this thing. The summer and a bathroom renovation kinda slowed me down, but I'm still at it.

It's all healed now. A good sized piceot it is gone though, and I don't have any feeling in the tip. But hells bells it coulda been worse.
