Quick update ... I was able to get the magnetic reed switch, put in and tested. It works better than I thought, seems it it a latching switch. My soldering iron bit the dust, so I couldn't solder the negative wire to the micro switch that I found at Dollar Tree. Great place to find cheap parts for electronic projects
.... :coolio :rotf

'32 Ford Mobile Fried Fish Shack The light is On

I took photos ... of my work on this truck ... Since my soldering iron went kaput I'll be taking it to the shop to solder the switch in wire in place.

h7d4e36b.JPG

I used my Gator grip glue to attach the reed switch to the bottom of the back of the truck ... additional framing will cover this up ... :woohoo:

This tiny wire comes from + side of the button cell battery through the reed switch to the anode of the L.E.D.

How cool is that! (y)

Thanks MP, as you know I've been working on this model for awhile ... I feel as if I can proceed now, with my module, which will have a animated alligator pit on it, along with this truck.

Now there will also be a Alligator processing plant there, (where We could get those alligator fried tidbits, shoes and suitcases ...

the guy that owns the place needs a Cajon name that would indicate some thing to do with alligators, Like Al E. Gaters Food service or something along those lines. Like this spelling of Fido ... (Phydeaux) Ya'll other folks are very welcome to help in naming this man ... Thanks Gerry

The Fried Fish Shack '32 Ford Is Back

Thanks Jeff ... Glad you like it ... Also glad I solved the battery problem ... I'm fixing to go make some springs for the rear end. All wiring is finished.

Ok it's hot here in Texas, so I'm not using AC sux the power too much Windows open fans on. I went in to make springs, pesky little bugs attracted to modeling light. Have to wait till morning. But I did get two spring's started I'm on the third leaf on each.

The Fried Fish Shack '32 Ford Is Back

I put springs in and the rear end is drying now ... photos they aren't real good looking but, the bottom of the truck won't be seen.
