That's it for me!

How about y'all?

I started the year with 3 harriers

A 1/48 Flanker from GWH. This was a revelation to me, a great model with decals that put the rest or the model world to shame. It was also my first use of MRP paint which i have used ever since which speaks volumes. A first for me

An Eduard 1/48 Spitfire with resin detail set. My first use of this railway layout "grass" that is applied with a static tool that makes it stand up... Excellent bit of kit as you can see. A first for me

Eduard F4f3 with the new 3D printed detail set. Again a first for me and 3D is the future. May resin rest in piece...s :)

A Roden 1/32 F2B built to show life goes on after WnW :)

I also built a 1/24 Hurricane and Spitfire from Airfix, neither of which were good enough to make the cut here.

Oh and i think this scrapped in in January

Happy 2024

Here's my collection for the year all in one picture. The backdrop is a new one I set up in the new workshop that was also finished up this year. The next is a Sea Fury my grandson Alex and I built, and the last is a Tamiya 1/32 F-4J a friend built for me, I gave him 3 of the same kit and he did this one for me. He did a super job, did he not.

I love seeing all of these! @jeaton01 that Phantom is spectacular. Lawdy! F-4 Phanton is and has always been my favorite plane since I was a kid. Why have I never built one??!! Maybe 2024 will make that happen

All great models! You guys are so productive :vgood:. A standout for me is the red 15 by Paddy. I remember following the build and the work that went into this one was inspirational for me.

These all rock! I love it! I have quite a few to show so this will be broken down into two posts since I'm limited to only 45 pics per post.

Okay, let's start my Pass in Review for 2023, starting with my aircraft, ships and boats:

And there it is, my Pass in Review. I'm very happy with the number of finished models and I hope next year is at least as productive. Meanwhile, thanks for looking in, comments are welcome.

I 100% agree with you on the red 15. One of the best builds I have ever seen and was grateful to follow along.

My website started in April this year.
I had higher completion expectations for 2023, but I guess I did do more model stuff than I thought!

Here are my 11...most are reviews for either AMPS or IPMS- all except the Tiran 5 and wooden ship...

I had a lot of things going on this year. As I had been emptying out a LARGE storage unit back in Tulsa for a while that was prime and foremost to get rid of the monthly debt. This also meant that I HAD to get things reorganized in my house to get that job done.
The hobby room had to be redone to make way for the old shelving units and work table I wanted to move in. Then I had an idea to add even more LARGE shelving across the shelving units.
Then there were several small boxes full of Vallejo paints. It was always a pain in the can to pick out the color I was needing. A lot of little and not so little jobs were needed to get things the way I wanted. Here we go.
The hobby "SHOP"

Hobby 'Shop' redo 1.jpg

Hobby 'Shop' redo 2.jpg

To begin with was building the bridge shelves.

Shelf top bridges-04.jpg

Then the TV needed some way to mount it.

The Vallejo paint rack

The one model that was finished this year.

Bugatti 100-18.jpg

And finally one of my oldest projects is now where I can work on it and at this point go through everything and redo it. My custom '77 Beetle is in the garage and the storage is empty and no longer costing me.

Beetle at home.jpg

I am now working on my Ju87 A project and it is making progress, but not done with it yet. Too many major things wrong with the kit so it is taking a bit.
