2012 Year End Review

Like Bill said, your one model far outshines my 44 by miles. You've overwhelmed everyone with quality while I did so with quantity. You have every right to be proud of the one; it is a most noteworthy accomplishment.

Welp, just five for me but considering I had only completed 2 in the previous 3 years it was a banner year for me.

Here is one that I forgot.
I did a side by side build with my daughter on a couple of Stuarts from Academy in 1/35th scale. She did the orange one. She really did do all of the assembly, and painting of the three color camo (I helped her airbrush the base orange color) and the pin wash and dry brush! Not bad for 9-1/2 years old. Go girl! Floyd was just for fun (and I really enjoyed (and still do) the freedom of going off-script and not worrying about anything ... (accuracy, rivet counting, correct colors, etc…). It is still one of my most enjoyable builds. (Something to consider when we get "bogged down"). Decals were from some Ma.K battle suit kits.

Cheers,

Bill

Of course, I did also launch two much bigger projects this year as well, which ate into my bench time considerably:

...but my bench is been very busy lately so hopefully 2013 will make up for it.
