Hey GUYS & Girls,
Here is 21st. Century's 1/6th scale Bradley IFV. A friend of mine collects these Massive toys & wanted me to Paint it up in a Desert Scheme. I looked around & asked some friends of mine. I ended up getting some pix of Bradley's that were used by the 1st. Armored Division and this Camo Scheme depicts a Bradley in that Camo Scheme as They landed in Kuwait , just before the Fighting started for Desert Storm. It took a Ton of paint to get this Bradley in Line. It was finished off with ModelMakerz Desert Pigments. I airbrushed th pigments on & mixed it with ModelMakerz Thinner/Fixative.
Here's th run down on the Paint & Pigs !
7 rattle cans of Tamiya Light Sand
12 bottles of Tamiya Flat Brown !!
1 bottle of Tamiya Flat Black
1 1/2 bottles of ModelMakerz Desert Sand pigments
2 bottles of ModelMakerz Thinner/Fixative
& some Vallejo Black to finish off the Gun Barrels & Antennas
The Tools were base coated with Tamiya Deck Tan & then I added Windsor & Newtons Raw Umber in a short V pattern & let sit on the tools for 20 minutes & then "streaked" with an Eye Shadow applicator.
Enjoy !
