The third MiG with the code "red 115" in service with the Polish Air Force. This time a representative of the first generation - MiG-15bis (LIM-2) from an unknown unit (1950s). The red lightning is a symbol of "excellent crew", which was awarded to the best crew (pilot + ground crew) from all military aviation units.

Model made from a Bronco kit in 1/48 scale, painted with Hubrol metalizers, MIG wash, decals from a set dedicated to LIM-1/2 aircraft developed by IPMS Polska and published by White Eagle.

At the end, a photo of three generations of MiGs from the Polish Air Force marking the designation "red 115".

A tidy little Lim, Indeed! Did your people build their own MiG-29's and 27's too?
@Rhino, I can answer that. No, the LiM (Polish acronym for Licensed Fighter) was only for the LiM-1 through LiM-6 which were built in the town where I have family, Mielec, Poland.
