Massive leap forward this weekend. Final shadows and highlights on the stonework, broken glass and chipped woodwork. Trim in final colors. Streaks added to interior walls. Iron work rusted and tarnish brass door handle completed I know does not look like that much work, but each stone has been highlighted and shadows twice!

Beautiful work John. I love the highlights on the brickwork and the weathered woodwork is brilliant!
What do you think of the oilbrushes?
I have seen these advertised but not sure what the advantage is above a normal brush.

Ian.

Thanks all!

Ian the only advantage is speed. Open the "eye liner" bottle and go, no soaking out the excess linseed oil, no too thick or too thin mixes. Just go!

I really like how thats coming out. I'm really interested in the base though. Is that just printed paper or did you make decals of the historic pictures? How did you do it?
James

What James said and asked...

It is looking awesome. I have been wondering how the Mini-Art buildings look when built and painted. Might have to get a few as they look pretty good.

Cheers,
James (the other one)

James printed on photo paper, and decoupaged onto the base.
