I know your stress on these big builds. It seems like every part is in your face. I fretted over the proper stance of the suspension on the Tiger build for several days.

A little more work. Got the tools and track cable put together. I also had to modify the kit's hold down clamp bar for the feifel tubes. I wondered if they would've left them on after removing the filters. In the pic of a stuck Tiger that has a good view of the rear deck they clearly left...

The pic of it on the model is my fix.

Takom & Das Werk both mold the jack block wood in the same way wrong. It's a pretty easy fix, though.

It's gonna make a sneaky good coin bank.

I blacked out the inside of the hull and the grating from the underside with some Tamiya nato black before gluing on the top of the hull. It proved to be a struggle to get it on without gaps. Not surprising, though as it's a large piece of plastic. Had to use thinned down putty in a few areas...

Finally got the tracks built. Next step was to not follow the steps, per the instructions. Test fitting the parts that make up the hull I could see there would need to be some tweaking, so I wanted to get them together straight before adding all of the details as the instructions show to do...

I have tracks for one side made and my fingertips are sore. Theres over 300 individual parts for the set, but I new what I was getting into when I bought the ticket.

Read on a few sites that tank crews did not wear hobnail boots....there is an exception for just about everything.
