Decals and weathering started. First half of the Barrel attached. Ditching beam finished Wheels and tracks attached so that I could start the weathering and attach the side skirts once that has been done. I have started on the Base as well and will have it as a simple muddy road - something...

I was thinking the same Paul. I have thought about adding this effect but with so many to build I will probably only attempt it on one.

Finally back to some modern Russian armour in the Ukraine...............T-72b3M ime again. The paint has started so it is all about staging the paint from chassis to wheels & tracks, to armour panels, then decals on the turret and final weathering. This is where I was back in Feb ... From here...

Hey Greg, its really weird as I just picked up a Takom Apache 64D Longbow in 1:35 from my local model shop. I too have never built a modern Helo and just thought , why not, last week.

Thanks you guys, much appreciated. These 2 projects were a lot of fun and I recommend building a Mk 1-5 from WW1, even if you are not into WW1 as these vehicles allow a multitude of weathering techniques because of their unique shape and track set-up. :vgood:
