    Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Saul, What material is the "MottleMaster" made of? I am concerned about clean-up and longevity of the tool. Jager

    Porsche 935 1:12

I'll be watching too. I have the Entex 1/12 BMW CSL in the stash. It has had my interest. I want to build something different, out of the armor-aircraft world builds. Paul W has inspired me to try something else by his foray into scale cars.

All Righty ... What's on the bench today?

I am also 'ramping' up to do an LRDG build. I am planning to do both the radio truck and a Breda Gun truck. What a group of men with a daunting task, in a hostile environment, encumbered by war. I have to get my 1/48 F4EJ finished up.

Look at what I just ordered from Hannants

While I was employed at McDonnell-Douglas here in Tulsa we maintained the NKC-135's for the Navy. They would go out and run exercises with varied electronic pods, dependent on the mission, on the wing pylons. I was not aware of this DC8 in this configuration. Jager

    1/32 Eduard Bf-108 Over trees.

In all my modeling days I had never heard of Overtrees. That was until my good modeling friend Paul introduced them to me. I guess that is one of the downfalls of living in a cave, you can't hear your friends telling you stuff.

    Doc visits Tulsa

WOW, did we have a treat. A national treasure, B29 DOC, was in our home town. Three of us from Tulsa Modelers Forum, Paul, Casey and I went to the Tulsa Air and Space Museum who hosted DOC, a Corsair, P51 and a Texan. If you have not had a chance to see DOC let me tell you it is one impressive...

Revell Ar-196A3 & HpH Catapult Launcher

Thanks HE for your help. I can get thru this now. I am held up once I get the download into the Album now. Error is that the file is too big. The photos were taken on my DSLR in raw image mode. I am computer challenged, if the signs were not evident enough. I am attempting to figure out a way to...

Revell Ar-196A3 & HpH Catapult Launcher

Thanks for your concern Moon Puppy. I did talk to Paul. We came up with nothing. I did a post to our website and all worked well. I have posted previously on MA with no problems. I will attempt tomorrow after the server gets an overnight rest.

Revell Ar-196A3 & HpH Catapult Launcher

Thanks for the help. It is not working for me. The above test image is not my model though. I will wait to see if the weirdness of posting an image gets resolved, then I will attempt to post up a pic.

Revell Ar-196A3 & HpH Catapult Launcher

I really enjoyed building this aircraft. It was a bargain too, $35-38 for the kit. It is a big box full of well molded styrene. On the other hand, the HpH Catapult launcher was a bit more of a challenge. The largest challenge was the sled that carries the aircraft. The kit parts were miscast and...

    Living on Tulsa Time

We have upgraded Paul from beer to Scotch. The other chair is not his as it has no seat belt. The Me262 is Adolf Galland's aircraft. It is a numbered and signed print by the artist and Galland. I was at a gun show years ago in Houston and Galland was there. He was very approachable. We chatted...
