The rear space frame, engine and suspension mounts is tricky. They cast in the location pins but not the corresponding holes. There are basically no right angles so all the holes have to be drilled at an angle which dictates the the shape of what you end up with :) Is this correct ? i guess we...

The separate dials from Quinta look very good but the complete panels are poor, i bought them for my FW190 build and i didnt use them they were that bad . 3D Print doesnt seem to work well enough to make it an up grade from std Decals, in fact its often a downgrade, especially if you want...

The airscale decals are nice but i wish they would increase the resolution, the problem is they sell some of them as specific US/RAF/German decals but TBH they all look the same because of lack of detail.

Today i did something i have never done before. Got up, 8.00 am started playing about with my latest project model above 10.00 am and spent the whole day till 7.20pm at the bench :) the joy of being retired and single :cool:

The problem with these Tamiya bikes is....A/ they are 1/12 so really quite small and B/ they nearly all have a fairing like this Ducati and despite most of the work being in the highly detailed engine , you will never see it . TBH they are really just a exersive in paint and decals. PS..I have...

hmmm First mistake :) I was happily assembling things when i realised i was going down a blind alley... The car seems to have a space frame with fibreglass's infills. Its hard to know if the frame is moulded into the body which would make sense for strength but a nightmare to repair damage...
