Thanks chris, one good thing to come of all this is i look at the questionable pictures and they made me order a new battery and charger for my good camera :)

I did do the panels together but had to re do the back using a filler primer. I did use a grey primer on top like the other panels to try and keep the base colour correct. It was a fun Build Bob, it had its difficulties but as you say, even they were fun to solve. Maybe had i not solved them...

Well that was a lot easier than it could have been :) Its not perfect but i am very pleased with it as a first attempt. its basically OTB but would benefit from a little added detail with the wiring and plumbing. You Gotta learn to walk before you can run. This car was easier than the bikes...

I dont think i would need a 4 jaw but i agree it would be wise to make sure they are available should i decide to turn square stock top round :) I doubt these micro lathes would be capable of turning an interrupted cut anyway. I think i would need a bench grinder for tools, an interchangeable...

What I have found with these MFH kits is they are ultra precise. Parts fit to the thousands of an inch. If the 100 parts you have already assembled are spot on the 101 part will fit. If it doesn’t its 99.9% going to be your fault. Things like the turned alloy headlamp reflectors slide perfectly...

tonight i got the last of the vac form fitted over the lights, it held in place with four .5mm rivets which are in blind holes , its quite tricky trying to manoeuvre .5mm rivets with a dob of CA on the end into .5mm holes through clear vac into the body knowing if you dont get the holes lined...

yea it confused me , i just added swastika's to my car :)
