So, starting on the engine while things dry. I cut off the oil filter and filled the hile with 3mm syrene tube. The printed oil filter is more crisp These are the parts I made. The fuel pump is not included as a kit part.

Thanks Paddy! That means a lot :) Chris, I have a feeling a Molotow chrome marker is going to be a closer personal friend when I am finished! I spent most of yesterday and a lot of today using blender to create files for the air cleaner (kit garbage), fuel pump (not included), oil filter...

Yep, wet sanding and give it another go. I actually had forgotten a step I wanted to do anyway which was to paint the whole outer part of the car chrome then paint the red over the top of it. So once I get the crome on it I should see any scratches that need additional work until that part is as...

    Revell '65 Mustang Fastback

So, we were on vacation for about 10 days and I have been out of touch. I am back at the model desk and am working on the rear seat for the fastback. The kit has a static back seat that does not move. Following along with A4garage I thought I would give it a try to see if I can make the seat...

Get a water trap and add it to the bottom of the airbrush. It makes an excellent grip.

So that's why! LOL I really wanted to be there. Mom wasn't having it this morning. It happens from time to time now.

Got some clean-up on the vents, but overall I am happy with them. I have a little design flaw to fix. This is Tamiya polyester putty. (When this tube is gone I will replace it with Bondo.) And finally in my random order of building I am performing a little surgery and will replace with mesh...

American Southwest, Circa 1876, Sioux Warriors vs US 7th Cavalry

Once again, just brilliant. I feel like the tones are closer to what I think of as natives. Out of a "how did he do that" curiosity, did you use transparent glazes or a more dry approach? I get the sense you used dry since you mentioned not working too wet. I like to work wet, and use glazes...

You know I am going to get out the soldering iron...right? Siiiigghhhhh

    Revell '65 Mustang Fastback

Well, IDK. The fins are better, but the vent ribs are not. I tried four different ways to make them and none of them are good. I shouldn't have been afraid to try the soldering iron I guess. It is still better than the kit parts though...I think I decided to zig zag the strips, first in metal...
