    Revell 1/72 Fokker D.VII

We had quite the thunderboomer storm the other morning. Some real life stuff got in the way of this small bit of Fokkery. Mornings here are quite dark, so Dad's pick-up needed the taillights fixed. I installed new taillight assemblies, monkeyed with wiring and then I remembered to check the...

    1/350 Pre Dreadnought Tsesarevich.

That build will be for sale for a LONG time.

You have left my area of model ship experience in your wake! What material will make up the bridge winders?

Panzer IV D in 1/48th scale by Bandai

How many of the old Bandai 1/48 Armor models do you have? These are excellent kits!

    Yep, I'm a sandbagger...

The AIDA ship one piece tooled hull is pretty cool! Will you substitute shark mouths for the feminine lips on the bow? It a shame more modern Cruise Liners aren't produced in 1/700 scale. The Revell Ag. 1/400 AIDA kit almost got there, but no cigar.

These are the grandest Cap-Holder-O-Matics I have ever beheld! The TLAR marketing team approves!

    Revell 1/72 Fokker D.VII

I like to decal. This is fortunate, because this paint scheme is half decals. These Warbird Decals are opaque enough that paint overspray is covered completely. It do take a while to soften them around curved leading edges. It's going pretty well, but I'm getting low on Solvaset. It's a...

    Revell 1/72 Fokker D.VII

We were alongside an AIDA ship at St. Lucia years back, It was before Carnival became the Projects of the Sea. A cheerful, tidy looking vessel. Smaller than our ship.

"I say all that big talk is worth doodlie-squat." I might tease you a bit, but your Cobra menagerie is going on and I'm happy to see that you have been building!

God's Teeth, what a great lot of brass this is! Will there be much plastic left?

NOTAM: (NOtice To All Modelers) If you consider this Jasta 15 paint scheme, it could prove simpler to paint the blue first and mask for the red nose. I did it exactly backwards, and luckily the finish is acceptable. White and red colors are Testors PLA enamels. The blue is Tamiya X-4...

    Armorcon 2026

It takes a lot of time and attention to post a show overview like this. I really enjoyed your efforts! There were many stunning builds there! I do not envy the judges.

    Revell 1/72 Fokker D.VII

I wasn't planning to do this, but I usually do, so I did it. This keeps the prop safe on the long drives to model shows. I went ahead and built up the back of the radiator tank, and put the lower wing on. The wee gap in the wing root will be filled by dropping Future inside the fuselage...

    Revell 1/72 Fokker D.VII

Yessuh. The D.VII was cantilevered, so a minimum of the rigging I enjoy doing is needed.

Holy Guatamollies! The Media coming out of UK says nothing about this, and we know why. Keep your wits about you, mate. BTW, 3D printed parts on scale ship models is not cheating in my book. It does get expensive quickly, as you have cleverly discovered without my help.
