    Revell 1/144 HMCS Snowberry

This build is a real departure from the safety of what I have learned over the years, Its quite exciting and I look forward to getting on with the build when I am doing other things. I need my brain working at 100% because trying to overlay the Revell instructions and the Pontus “instructions” (...

My advice would be gat a height tool you can attach a pencil too . Actually if you look down the Hull like its sights on a rifle you can get pretty near straight i found but i have an engineers eye :-) I see things out of line everywhere and its really annoying. .

I think i have worked it out...if i draw a straight line in photo shop like this it looks spot on However it only looks like that from exactly that angle because the pic is 2D and the ship is 3D You cant really see it but here i have drawn a pencil line along the same line and now it looks...

Experimenting today, decided to buy a new soldering iron as the adjustable temp rheostat broke in the old one. This one has a built in temp control, adjustable to within 5c and heats up in 10 seconds to 350c. And this is my first ever attempt at soldering PE Pretty pleased with that and...

I wonder what the difference is between painting something black and then shading areas white to leave black panel lines.....and painting black panel lines and then over shading in white ? I have seen people do both on this ship. I am leaning towards all black as the hull and decks are black anyway.

So this is the extent on the Pontus PE which i am informed is now at the local post office As you can see most things you would favour 3D print for are actually catered for in PE. Tomorrow i will try and detail the PE frets here and asses what might be doable and what's not for my fat...

As for immigration ? I doubt you get the full story on that either ? France sends tens of thousands of migrants over the channel each year. They don't want them. They send them in cheap rubber dinghies' that carry up to 200 at a time with a 25hp outboard. they give the migrants life jackets...
