    T-33 Walkaround

Thanks for this Saul I wish I could find the photos of Fowler "Big Dog" Cary's T33 that he had parked at KGRD. I heard him flying one Sunday morning when I lived close to the airport and got out there ASAP. Saw him land and he allowed several of us who were drawn to the impromptu airshow to...

    A Pair of Dreidecker.

There's progress, I'm a bit out of step but wanted to build up the motor. The spider looking thing is the distributor or whatever it was called. I know the wires won't be seen but I'm doing it.

She'll live to fly another day! I really like the subtle effects of the knocked out engine, doesn't have a massive soot stain we see when folks try to represent a burned out motor, just an oil leak and pesky flak holes. Also like the minimalist approach to your base.

GOOGLE MEET FOR MODELER'S ALLIANCE? Who is in?

No problem @Heavens Eagle I figure it was something like that. Summertime is hard to schedule, everyone has stuff going on. We had family coming up today also and I had to end the call at 10:30. I'm still trying to sort out my work bench, trying to find a good maglight rig a bit bigger than...

Sorry I had to cut our visit short today. Thanks @jknaus and @Barney for taking the time to join. We'll get back on schedule with our August call. Summer time is always hard to schedule around.

I'll forward you my workday sucked message I sent Saul and James. Glad it was a quick fix, just think, if it were a brand new truck you would have had to take it to the dealer and have the codes reset for $$$.

    A Pair of Dreidecker.

I think I got my subject. This came out of the paperback "Richthofen" by A E Ferko. I thought I had a book or some reference about what aircraft he flew based on his log books and mission reports but can't find it anywhere.

An ammo box in this scale should look a lot better than just scaled up from 1:35. Good luck Tim.
