    The work benches I've been building are 2x4' Really simple. The first one I did is higher because I intended for it to be the electrical/mechanical bench. Working on full size parts and whathave you. So I think the paint rack will be 4' wide and I can go up as far as I want within reason...

    Thank's Paddy, I couldn't find the clear sheets at the Hobbylobby but I did find clear sticker, stuck the frame to it then a couple of coats of clear deactivated the sticky glue. It's not up to exacting standards but works for me. I'm going to add another run of brass to simulate that leaf...

    While I wish I had the gumption to rebuild the tail wheel itself, I'm ok with this so far. JUST found this photo. The mount look more like a leaf spring. I might have something for that also.

    But you know one day she will find out. :stinker: How nice is this, Putting it in a case like this will protect it far longer than a 5th grader will be able to keep it safe. I given my nephews a couple over the years only to have them disappear with no trace. I don't ask.
