    Diorama photo ideas...

Hey Giovanni At a pinch, I'd say that the Sherman in question is a M4A3 from the PTO? The support stands for the engine access doors can be seen on the edge of the rear deck. The extra armour plating for the running gear would be indicative of protection from ground troops in close quarters...

    South African of the Day

Hey Ruders Is this vehicle a complete SA design and build, or an improvement on a base model? What is the gun on the back of the vehicle in one of the pics? Looks almost like a recoiless rifle... But then what do I know about modern stuff  Brad

Well thankyou Jenny Laura Glenn and Joe. Joe, here is a pic of the tools I use. The tool in question is quite handy for getting in to recreate long folds, and as it is not symmetrical, when reversed it assists with different angles of approach. As can be seen, all the tool differ at their...

Ok as promised/threatened here are some more photos... The collar can be seen finished (for now) with some seam detailing to the edges... I should just revise my initial measurements on the length of this belt! As can be seen it is not much more than 30mmm, and this is sufficient for the waist...

    Hetzer in Ardennes

Gday Mike been a while huh! A cool lil scene you have developed here mate. The colours of the terrain blend well with each other. The positioning of all the elements looks spot-on,and I like the little rise off to the side. The pines I think have experienced the same problem as a few I have...

The Winds of War, My first Superdiorama!

Re:My very first Diorama! Without close-ups Bob, I'd be hard pressed to see how bad this is in comparison to your newer works... That said, I will take your word for it  It really looks monumentous and I like that you have mentioned certain limitations of the day and what you have...

Hey thanks so much for the feedback you all... I too await his arising from putty to something useful! Hi there folks Here is a quick snap of one of a few figures I have on the go at any one time... The plan here is to have a slightly bedraggled and injured Armored Infantry doughboy showing the fatigue of sustained warfare. He will be suitable for a late autumn/fall to deep winter scene. I...
