    Juno Beach LCA

Chris, that's a lot of pressure , but thanks! I am amped about building this scene, I've been collecting figures and mark III helmets. I also ordered the 1/35 La Fonderie LCA kit from modelhobbies in the UK, should be here in a week or so and I'll officially enter then. The work to...

What a cool Churchill conversion! Thanks for the history and background too. The tank and carrier look great.

    Farewell Friend.

No really, I think it's interesting because you don't often see standalone figures in a distinct pose like that, they're usually fighting or looking off in the distance. I also like WW1 aviation subjects, and posing him over Albert Ball's grave is touching, I'd like to build a model of Ball's...

    British street scene

Some work on the base tonight. My wife's been busy with a new job and my kid is away for holidays so I've had lots of time to model lately B) The sidewalk and cobblestone street is latex by Kancali, the pub is foamcore and matboard so far, lots of work to do. I put a helmet in the MG, does...

    British street scene

Thanks folks. Laura, I had to look up Captain Hasting's car, apparently its a Lagonda Funny, the actor that played him is Wellington from the Sharpe shows. John, I bet she has some great stories. Adrian, that's a great figure, please share in-progress shots. Ted

    World Fighter figure

Those are fun figures, I'd love to see photos of the other ones you've painted. I've tried painting 5 o'clock shadows on figures before, the best examples I've seen from pros have used more grey paint, not so much the hair colour. Ted

    British street scene

I started building a scene of a British street during WW2. The two women will be walking into a corner pub. The Airfix car was fun to build but I think it's going to take some work to make it look like it's not a toy. It's painted with Humbrol enamel and has a long way to go. The Tilly was a...
