Looks like a nice clean job,I like it,do you normally build your ships OOB with no rigging. I ask because I build my ships basic also,I have used brass guns, and once tried a wood deck,but railings and rigging are beyond me.Nice to see I'm not the only one.

That's because Tamiya isn't a true acrylic like Mig and Vallejo

I just read their site,Hataka says that they are acrylic ??? Are they like Tamiya and Ak-Real in that they can be thinned with lacquer thinner also?

When I use Vallejo Model Color,I use their thinner and Flow improver,never have any problems spraying it anymore,a couple of times I used Mig Ammo I used the Vallejo stuff also and it sprayed great. Model Color hand brushes great,I also like the way Mission Model hand brushes. I also like...

Saw these little guys downtown the other day at a booth,remind me of "steampunk" stuff,thought they looked cool.

People were saying that in the 80's when I first started modeling but it keeps getting bigger and biggger,more and more kit selections,more companies making kits,subjects that we never would have dreamed of,and these big priced kits are selling,otherwise they wouldnt make them,endless varieties...

The hobby will be just fine 😄
