    Mosquito NF Mk.II

Good to hear you are on the mend. Pneumonias are hell regardless of age. Hope you feel better. What a nice model. So crisp, such nice painting. Well done! Cheers Alex

The kit that scares me - 1/48 GWH Sukhoi 35S - Russian Knights

I think 1/72 SU-27 and SU-35 kits are WAY to big. I wouldn't dare touching this monster. That being said, what a nice work. And what a gorgeous picture in the beginning. Thanks for sharing. Cheers Alex

    1/72 Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero - Vigna di Valle II - COMPLETED!

Thanks guys, much appreciated. I am actually very proud of this one. I reckon it is one of my best ones (which is not much but still), and the painting was a challenge on itself. I will keep experimenting with these crazy Italian camos, my goal is to eventually reach an "airbrush-like" finish...

Italian Regia Aeronautica in Russia 1942

Thanks a lot guys! @paddy Bob has said it - airbrushes are deadly for me. With paint brushing I can handle the fumes by using only acrylic, water-based solvents. Resin work only "under water" also, so it is complicated. I would love to be able to use an airbrush... @Heavens Eagle: Paul, i can...

Thanks master. I am quite happy with the result, specially when you look at the real model - it looks quite similar in my opinion. Cheers Alex

Italian Regia Aeronautica in Russia 1942

Thanks guys much appreciated. Work is slow in this one since I am concentrating on the other projects. In any case here is a slow progress in the wheel bay and on the accessories for the diorama. Cheers Alex

Nighfighters Italian Style - Biplanes - COMPLETED

Thanks all of you, Sorry I was AWOL again. A lot going on at the hospital as usual. Well, I already began this project and it has been very pleasurable. The CR.32 will have to wait a bit since I thought that I had another Eduard PE Sheet but I did not - it was hard to find one, eventually I...

    1/72 Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero - Vigna di Valle II - COMPLETED!

Thanks everyone. Well, it cost me a lot of time, sweat and beer to get the wriggles all completed. Mind you, it is one single line from beginning to end of the aircraft, just like the real one (in the picture). As soon as I recover I will move on to decals and the last adjustments. Cheers and...

The Hun - F-100 Super Sabre (Revell 1/72) *FINISHED*

Hi Chris Nice model of a beautiful aircraft. The magazine weathering aircraft from Ammo of Mig published an article a while ago about the chipping on an old turkish F-100. It was amazing. Perhaps you could look at it for additional info, if you would like. Cheers Alex

    Su-27 1/48th scale by Academy Flanker B

That is one nice beast Gary, well done. I used to like big shiny decals but had my share of FUBARs so I am more into delicate subtle decalling now. Great job! Cheers Alex

    1/72 Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero - Vigna di Valle II - COMPLETED!

Anytime! I don't know much but I am happy to share the little I know. Not much progress but the base colour is in. That is the Grigio Mimetico (FS 36231) undersides and Nocciola Chiaro 4 (FS 30219) oversides. The camo will be finished with Verde Oliva Scuro 2 (FS 34052) in a continuos line all...
