I really don't know what to say . I'm not very computer savvy [ old dog new tricks etc. ] and this is the way I've been posting for just about forever . I'm sorry if there are troubles with the method I use to post for some viewers . Aaaand , no I don't need a tutorial on how to change things ...

Some cargo work . Still needs an oil wash . Gonna crowd the deck up good with scavenged post apocalyptic stuff . Also an engine repair scenario aft . I've decided to 86 the kit side rails and fashion my own version , the kit ones take away/obscure/distract visuals of the cargo area .

The Thanksgiving turkey tryptophan has worn off and I'm fully awake , got some more done . This vehicle is huge man . There will be little to no rust as the LARC-V is of aluminium construction . However there needs to be dirt , grease , grim a cargo , tools on the back deck denoting ongoing...

Beautiful find Saul , looks like I've got my next build lined up . Love the field added extended decks with pontoons !!! I think I've got the perfect kit for the crane too . Revell 1/35th scale Mann Although I might want to scratch this crane in your pics , it's different from a knucke boom .

True Saul , and all that is under the m113 deck/roof of the hiab which on the fitter is pto powered . I just wish I could find specs on the LARC-V with Hiab below which is what I got the idea from . I've searched everywhere and ungots ............

Saul , you won't need the pto system if it's all electric run off banks of batteries . Pto system run would still be under the decks but a longer run to the pedestal from the aft engine . Whatever the FM is that makes it run , 95% of it will be below deck .

Allthough I could put a hydrolic resivoir on the pedestal and run lines from that to the controls and then from the controls the booms to the piston cylinders and winch .
  16. Cheyenne

    One Down One to Go

Not if it's pto operated or battery operated where the hydrolic resivoir , pumps , batteries , motor are located under the deck and plumbed up through the pedestal . Then only the hydrolic lines to the pistons will be visible .

Lol , yeah , I've done my fair share of water and even on practice runs that pucker is still clinchin cuz of the dam unpredictibility of the medium .

    Sara's a fast girl.

Water looks good so far . Just the kind of " no pressure " material to work with that plays games with yer sphincter .

Saul , ya got me thinking bout them shark teefers , ........... maybe . Heavens eagle , yeah that kit is widely available but this is a dino apocalypse , ......... no zombs . A little progress . The kit doesn't have an engine and I couldn't resist adding one . Noticed I could use a weld bead ...
