    G scale locomotive.

When I was reading up on the General it went through several overhauls, even converting from wood burner to coal and getting a new stack. I think they did this to most locos back then. You had the fresh out of the shop version and then the modified based on needs and repairs version in the real...

Is AI a good thing :-)

I don't know Paddy, I think Peter Jackson's "They Shall Never Grow Old" was very good. Upscaling and colorizing WW1 trenches adds another layer of what these men went through.

I don't know who started this but my glass files showed up with an added surprise. I slipped it in on my wife's Amazon Prime deal order so I don't know what I paid...nor how I got 2 boxes.

Test shot. I just wanted to see what this looks like, this is dark yellow ochre pigment. Not Migs "northwest desert sand north of timbucktoo". Not fixed yet, could brush off easily. @centaur567 going to use some of your Jordan sand on the base!

I feel like it Ian, I watched some scenes from the movie the other day. The tank doesn't look that beat up and dirty. Sand has a way of scrubbing things clean but leaving it dusty. Not like the red clay that sticks to everything.

I saw where Sprue Bro had WW2 US Tank Crew Sahara 1943 DEFDF35023 in stock so he's on the way. He doesn't look much like Bogart but he sure don't look like Jim Belushi, I'm not putting him on the base! I sprayed a good flat coat of the Testors lacquer clear and have let it setup for a couple...
