M-46 Patton tank 1/48th scale by Atlantis

Added the tow links front and back and that part to the turret behind the gun mantle. Except for replacing the 50 cal. , I am done with the extra detail. Hopefully I'll get primer on it today. Gary S.

M-46 Patton tank 1/48th scale by Atlantis

Sometimes parts disappear right before your eyes. There are times when I spend more time looking for a small part than modeling. Now on to the model at hand. Finished the light and siren guards and installed the front fender braces. The rear braces are molded on and I'm just going to leave them...

M-46 Patton tank 1/48th scale by Atlantis

Not for a while yet. One of the head lights went missing, so I had to make one and then make the guards for them. Next is the guard for the siren on the rt. fender. Then I need to find a replacement for the 50 cal. gun from my spares stash. Gary S.

M-46 Patton tank 1/48th scale by Atlantis

Don't know when I'll ever get this thing painted. Keep finding more stuff to do and I' only trying to do the obvious stuff. No Super detail. Made a trailer hitch from a Tony tail wheel, made periscopes for the front hatches, detail stuff on the rear of the turret ( I have no idea what they are...

M-46 Patton tank 1/48th scale by Atlantis

Yea, after plastic schemes and Bondo. At the rear end there's two big towing rings that are not included in the kit. So using scrap plastic from the cut off side skirts I made them. Gary S.
