    Paint remover?

I have had good luck using Polly S ELO (Easy-Lift-Off) paint and decal remover but unfortunately I think it died with the Polly S line when Rustoleum killed it. I still have some of it around and use it regularly to remove the lettering from my railroad rolling stock.

    Summer in the South

I lived on the Mississippi gulf coast for about 8 months. Walking in the rain was no big deal because if you were walking your clothes were already wet. Your clothes would get moldy jut hanging in the closet. Until I experienced that I thought summer humidity in Ohio was bad !

    Tamiya P-38F/G in 1/48

Figures, about a year ago I picked up an Academy J model and a bunch of after market to do Robin Olds bird. :facepalm The F/G models don't have the chin radiators on the engines so it looks enough different to justify it I guess, we'll see, I'm sure it will be an easier build than the...

    Bobcat Il-28 1:48

Nice Saul, interesting that as unmaintained as the aircraft looks the nose wheel hub looks to be freshly painted. The mind is the first thing to go, I think I got mine from Lucky Model.

    Bobcat Il-28 1:48

Bob, Bobcat started out as Xuntong Models and after their two releases of the Tu-2 torpedo bomber and level bomber the name changed to Bobcat, probably because folks in the rest of the world couldn't pronounce Xuntong :S Preliminary designs for the IL-28 strongly reflected the influence of...

    Bobcat Il-28 1:48

Bobcat Il-28 1:48 History (From Wikipedia with some changes) The Ilyushin Design Bureau began development of a new jet-powered tactical bomber in late 1947. The twin-engine Ilyushin Il-28 was created to meet a requirement for a bomber to carry a 6,600 lb bomb load at 500 mph. The new...

    A submarine thing

I found this kit when I cleared out the stash closet earlier this year, I was going to put it the "get rid of" pile but noticed it only had 36 parts so decided to build it. The last submarine I built was the nuke Nautilus back in the 5th or 6th grade with nothing but a single edge razor...

    1/48 Italeri F7F-3 Tigercat

Like I said at the beginning of the review it was the kit that stigmatized an entire generation against the use of rubber or vinyl tires.
