Tu-95MS Bear II in 1/200 scale

Obligatory start up photos This will be the third one in this series that I've done and unlike the past two this one has no cockpit other than a floor which I think just serves as a bulkhead so no micro parts to deal with. The props look like they might be a challenge to clean up and the...

    MMM-2020 Do335 B-6 Nightfighter

Heh, the tire master probably came from a British bomber that was the right diameter. I'm hoping your build will get my juices flowing to complete the B-8 that I started way back in the Swanny's models days.

    Has anyone built this kit?

Not much help here, I have the MK I/II kit and it looks good in the box but haven't built it so can't comment on that. The MK I/II kit had some shape issues with the engines but that won't be an issue with the MK III unless they mucked them up as well. You should be able to find some reviews on...

I may have to get one of these:

If I remember correctly the old John Deere one cylinder "Johnny poppers" were started by spinning the power take off belt pulley. I saw it done a couple of times and was always amazed at how easily they started.

Looking for Hasegawa F-8 Zuni Rocket Pods

Any chance these are included in the Hasegawa weapon sets ? I have the "B" and "C" sets but I'm pretty clueless on this era of weapons. Nothing in the set is labeled Zuni, all are marked by their military designation such as AIM-9 etc.

    Another victim

Sorry to hear this, I lost the love of my life over ten years ago but it sometimes still seems like yesterday. I tried a number of time the first year to get back to the bench but couldn't do it. Good that you have your family close, try to keep the memories of the good times at the forefront !
