    Son of Sharkmouth's Delta Dart

Sharkmouth's CTA2 Double Delta Darts Cool! It will be interesting to see how the Monogram parts match up, I have a conversion based on the monogram kit, but if it is close enough to the new one, I might consider using the Trumpeter instead. Ernie

    Trumpeter PT-76

I didn't have a kit to build for this, but found a Trumpeter PT-76 for a really good price....less than $12.00 :dude So...good to go. The kit looks pretty decent, so I have forgone getting an etch set for it, and instead will try to get a set of replacement tracks to replace the rubber band ones...

    ErnieS's Tony

This will be my second entry, I really like this plane, and have wanted to build one, so why not???? Got a good price on it, but it seems like it has been stored in someone's dungeon for the past ten years or so :facepalm The decals may or may not be any good, they are sunning themselves in a...

What is the oldest kit you have?

Ha, cool! I have the Aurora P-6 sitting right in front of me for sale :bgrin . I have a Strombeck TT-1 Pinto in the peep top box, which might pre-date the Aurora kit. I think that is my oldest kit, though I have a number of oddities and other rare kits that I am looking forward to building...

    Ernie'S Scout II

Progress is being made :rockon Haven't shown much, as it takes a while for the paint to set up hard so I can move forward, but everything should come together quickly in the end as most of the subassemblies are done :thumbsup I got the paint, really happy with that, as I ordered it on a...

Me too!!! Busy summer, our son just started college about 3 1/2 hours away in Bangor, Me. so down to one child left in the house on a full time basis, so hopefully after a couple more big fall projects over the next couple of weeks, I will have a bit more time to devote to torturing plastic and...

    Ernie'S Scout II

Yeah, I think just go with it....At almost $25.00 for a 2oz touch-up bottle I am going to try to live with it.....International was pretty liberal with their special orders I learned, as far as customer specified paint and interiors were concerned, so JUST MAYBE one loyal customer ordered his...

    Ernie'S Scout II

So first up, some work on the interior components to get them ready for paint. The backs of the front seats are hollow, so I added a piece of styrene to fill the back out. The seat on the right has had the styrene sheet added, the left still to do The spare tire in the kit is not a tire...

    Ernie'S Scout II

This will be my first entry...... I have not built a car kit since I was a kid, so this might not end well :facepalm I wanted t build this kit since it is kind of cool, and every time it gets released, it disappears and becomes hard to find rather quickly. I made a trade with a friend of...

    1/72 Hasegawa Beaufighter

So, that is how it has sat for the last three years :bangs head :woohoo: I decided to add some detail to the wheel bays, just some Evergreen strip. Engines painted, I used Citadel Chainmail, then a was of AK engine oil, and last a drybrush of Metalizer steel to bring out the detail. The...

    1/72 Hasegawa Beaufighter

Found this again while I was cleaning out some kits, and thought I would give it another chance to get finished.... started a long time ago I really wanted something different from the kit decal options, so I searched around and found a set of Print Scale decals that offered a couple of other...
