    RIP Alan Rickman

James, I will never forget him as the Sheriff of Nottingham. That was epic. His part in Love Actually was also very good, but I love that movie and most people don't so.... Yes, a very talented actor lost way too soon. Cancer is a sonuvabitch. RIP Alan Rickman

Thank you guys for all the nice comments! I really appreciate them. Bob, yeah we had snow, but it's all gone now and it's like 65F today. Weird weather for sure because it should be cold and snowy but oh well, I'll take any warm weather we can get!

    P-47N 1/48 Academy

Well, I'm firing up the way back machine I guess. One of those shelf of doom jobbies that I dusted off. There was acutally no good reason why I stopped building this kit. I just had painted the interior bits their basic colors and then boxed it back up. I have no idea why. Something else...

    Airfix F-51D 1/72

Thanks Bob! I am shocked I didn't get any silvering under the large ANG-578 decals considering they are mostly just carrier film. I thought about cutting them all out but I got lazy, didn't do that, and got lucky. Great decals!

    Basic Air Brush Questions

There are a number of things that are going to affect you here. I used a VL for many years and you should have no problem going down to a low PSI with it. I see from the link you posted that your compressor has a regulator. Are you saying that when you turn it down below 25 psi that air won't...

    Airfix F-51D 1/72

I started this kit a little while ago but just now got around to getting it buttoned up and painted. Sorry there are no cockpit shots. The only thing I added were some Eduard PE harnesses. Painted with Floquil Old Silver and Model Master insignia red. I will be doing this scheme from Mike...
