    Aircraft Photo base

I had that idea on my 32 scale string bag. As the rigging both in 48 and 32 does not fit well and bows. I was thinking on using chrome wire but I bought some plain steel wire. That should look good enough at 20'.

    He-219

We have a thing to recognize a modeler's work of the previous month, called Model of the Month or MoM. Last night the 219 came away with unanimous honors.

    He-219

Well, It's done. It has been a fair build but my shaky hands just wouldn't let me finish the aerial and the aft radar antenna. With a couple of missing parts I think I'll just display this high up. I have ideas now about the 32 one, and that will come out better. Here ya go.

I've never had the guts to do a CZ kit. especially after my fiasco with the Song Bird. Great finish John.

    P-61C Black Widow

I have done both the Hobby Boss and the GWH 48 kits. Both of them have their niggles but when you are done they resemble a P-61. After all isn't that the name of the game??

Tamiya 1/48 He-219 baby steps before the big one.

Well with the decalling done, and landing gear the next step is all the doo-dads. I am not satisfied with the masking of the canopy. Antennas, exhausts, and some paint touch up and Ill call it done.

Tamiya 1/48 He-219 baby steps before the big one.

I did most of the assembly, finished the decals and tried some Ammo water based washes. They work well, just don't paint the plane as i did with then or you may come out with dome darker spots that you done want.I'll have to go back and do some spot touch ups.

Tamiya 1/48 He-219 baby steps before the big one.

This is the first campaign for me in quite a while. Tamiya's 48 scale 219. This is not a totally issue free kit but nothing that can not be overcome. Small annoying fit issues in the nacelles and around the hatch for the schragemisik guns and one gap under the wind screen. I did not have the...

    One Down One to Go

I wouldn't complain, I don't know what an "early" out board would actually look like.
