    1/48 scale Bf 109's x 2

Thanks again Luiz! The last of the detail painting of the cockpit has been done and the cockpit and I.P. has been glued inside the fuselage. The two pale rectangles that can be seen above the luggage compartment and on the pilot head armor are placards I made from old Hasegawa decal scraps. I...

FW 190 A8 (EDUARD)- JUST FINISHED!...

Fantastic work Luiz! That kit is light years ahead of the Revell kit of this same aircraft. Matrixone

    1/48 scale Bf 109's x 2

Some detail painting of the cockpit parts has been done and only need a couple more things to paint and I can get the cockpit fitted inside the fuselage for good. The seat belts are hand painted, I don't have any aftermarket items to work with. The instrument panel was also hand painted...

    I think I'm turning Japanese...

Dave, The Ki-46 III with the smooth windscreen and larger propeller spinners is a sleek looking aircraft and looks fast even when sitting on the ground. The only other twin that comes close in the looks department is the Ta 154. This little 1/72 scale Arii Dinah trainer may be an old kit...

Dave, I have a stack of small scale 190's in my kit stash and really want to build a couple. :ohyeah One more image of the 1/48 scale K-4. Matrixone

    1/35 scale Tamiya Panther

Thank you Mike for the pictures, there might be a hook on the tool rack on part A 20 to affix the tow cable to but the instruction sheet shows nothing for attaching the tow cable towards the rear of the tank. :idonno That's what I get for trying to do an armor kit. ;) Matrixone

Hasegawa 1/48 scale Bf 109K-4 FINISHED.

Thanks Piet and Christian! :good I think I do have some ANR decals in my decal stash but it might be a while before I build another K-4...after this 1/48 scale K-4 and the current 1/32 build I will take a short break on building anymore 109's so I am not sure when I might build more of them...

    1/48 Skyraider...Finished

That turned out great Joe! I have always liked the Skyraider, that machine has character and they also could get dirty at times which makes for an attractive subject to model. Matrixone

    1/35 scale Tamiya Panther

Thanks! G, For a complete armor noob like myself it would be best to just finish the model O.O.B. Maybe later on I can get recent kits of the Panther to build that already has the side skirt armor plates included...as of the moment I don't have a modeling budget so anything I build has to be...

    I think I'm turning Japanese...

Thanks Bob and Dave! Dave, This Dinah will be a what-if type and will be painted and marked as a Kamikaze so it will look pretty thrashed compared to the Tamiya Dinah I just finished. I agree about the Dinah being a nice looking aircraft, out of all the axis twins I rate it over the Me 262 and...

    I think I'm turning Japanese...

Thanks James and Mike! The Tamiya Dinah is finished, pictures to be posted in a day or two. Now that I have some room on my worktable work has again started on the 1/72 scale Arii Dinah trainer. Matrixone

    1/35 scale Tamiya Panther

MP and Ron, and that's why I stick to building aircraft models. As promised, here are some in-progress pictures of the Panther. After dry fitting the upper and lower hull parts there was a noticeable gap at the very front that I am pretty sure should not be there and I tried...

Hasegawa 1/48 scale Bf 109K-4 FINISHED.

As usual for me this model was built O.O.B. and aftermarket decals were used, paints used were Model Master enamels shot through my Iwata Revolution BR airbrush. This model was finished a couple weeks ago but because of all the poor weather it was not possible to get out to the airfield and get...

    1/35 scale Tamiya Panther

Thanks for the feedback and information on the Panthers, I don't have very much on the Panther in my library. JSteinman, That's a terrific suggestion for camouflage and I remember seeing a photograph or two of such a camouflage scheme on German armor on the eastern front in my old Panzer Colors...

    1/35 scale Tamiya Panther

Thanks for the suggestion Piet! What a strange weapon that Pantherturm was. I have a soft cover book titled ''Panzerwrecks'' and in it there are a couple photographs of Panther tanks in Berlin that were placed in deep holes that only exposed the turret and the engineless tanks were encased in...

Otaki 1/48 scale Ki-61 now FINISHED!

Thanks Ian,ausf, and Luiz! I look forward to adding more Japanese aircraft models to my collection even though I am not 100% sure about the camouflage colors I put on them are correct. :idonno This old Otaki kit turned out okay but I am really pleased with the Tamiya Dinah that was also...

    1/35 scale Tamiya Panther

Thanks Sherman, When I bought this kit it was with the intention of painting it in an ambush scheme but back in those days I did not know the kit I bought was not a correct version of the Panther for that type of paint scheme, one Panther looked like any other Panther to me back then. After...
