I just ordered Tamiya's 1/48th scale Korean War F_51D from Amazon. I have read that post war F-51's were painted all over silver. Is this true? Gary S.

    Mini rant and a yahoo.

5'11",176 lb.S. Duck tape and will power. Plus cutting out the beer helps. We split a single serving frozen entree with a salad for dinner. Staying away from restaurants, soft drinks including diet drinks helps. About ten years ago I hit 208-210 lb.S and decided to make some changes. Gary S.

    Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Your, welcome! Stoumont, Belgium, is one of those places where the Battle of the Bulge took place. The pebbles are great for making a wall. I had a patient whose father was a Bulge veteran, and he asked for some of the Basone dirt to place on his dad's grave as this battle always affected him. I...

Also, the underside ones were lt. blue also. I think like you that fading the darker color is the way to go and I'm going to use white oils for that. Gary S.

Thanks, I brush on a coat of Future just before placing the decal. In most cases it eliminates shivering. Gary S.

    Ivan and the Tiger

Decals are done for both models. The kit wing decals for the P-40 were too light of a blue so they were removed. I had a darker set of blue one left over from a previous P-40 build about ten years ago. There is no placement instructions for the stencil decals. I had to use a a 1/32nd scale P-40...

It might take me a few days to get the sand in the mail. I'm also including some dirt from Bastone and some pebbles from Stoumont, Belgium. I used some of the dirt for my Sherman base and some of the dirt and pebbles to make a wall for my Stug III. They are both 1/48th scale Bandai kits. Gary S.
