Wood Grain Decals from Uschi van der Rosten

Here is a review of a product that's interesting for many of us that builds models and dioramas.
Manufactured by Uschi van der rosten in Germany, website: www.uschivdr.com/

Wanted to try the decals, so i scratch built a small table in 1/35

Here you see the decal, i cut it a little bigger than the table to be able to fold it over the edge.

Primed with tamiya fine primer.

A coat of tamiya dark yellow as a base fore the decal.

And here the decal in place /components/com_kunena/template/default/images/emoticons/smile.png i used micro sol softener to make the decal fold over the edge and it was very easy to work with, the decal film is very thin so it follow the contours good.

And here with a wash of thinned artists oilpaint.

The decals are available in many versions for different scales and uses, perfect for ww1 airplanes etc.

There is also wheathering decals and graffiti decals /components/com_kunena/template/default/images/emoticons/4.gif don't have to use spraycans anymore! /components/com_kunena/template/default/images/emoticons/coolio.gif
