Britt's Model Miscreants afoot again! ZORN!!
How many entrants and entries? Did anyone enter? Didja win? Didja huh?! Didja?!!
It looks like a big show for a local one. Awesome venue!!

Lotsa great builds.
Not the same venue as on 6/8 ?
I'm not sure Tony, we're discussing the idea of making the 6 hour round trip to Warren Robbins for the Scott Con I think they call it. @errains I can't find that on IPMS.

So we started early with a text to the boys, that I was percolating and I got a fhums up from all to proceed at my pleasure. Got Bruce and interrupted Erics breakfast by being a might early but that was rectified with a detour at MickyD round about. I abstained saving up for lunch.

We hit the interstate with good vibes till we hit the perpetual traffic pattern changes that is north of Columbia, thankfully we were not going all the way into the capital city.

The venue was very busy, baseball season is well in play and parking was a premium. I had to shuffle around a bit when I went to hit the cash dispenser because I failed to do it earlier. In fact, I was not scheduled to go at all until last minute. I was in Ohio all last week but I took the day off yesterday to spend quality time and Cindy gave me a guys day pass.

Rolling up at the site we spotted our pal @Greg Kimsey with a new face @yoBabysDaddy who wasted no time registering with the website and proceeded to recruit new member, so we have another pair of Chris's now, well Khris and Chris

I didn't show anything, didn't think anything was worthy yet. Bruce brought his Israeli tank and Eric took the beloved Bloodhound and a Sherman loaded for the weekend excursion. (It wasn't over loaded...)

Lunch was had at the British Bull Pup....PUB! I had the obligatory Fish and Chips and tried a Scots Egg...ok, I tried it.

I'm only posting some of the images I grab.

Our Buddy Roger won gold with his O@ Skymaster, the aircraft he was first crew chief on.
This canopy treatment caught my eye.

Like a sharp white seal, first thought it was a glue mishap but then realized it was on purpose.

The often abused Buffalo, really great fad job that earned silver.

Seems my appreciation of the MacRobertson race is not unique.

SCRATCH build Avro S04! Why no award I don't know.

I did take a photo of it Eric and it's not overloaded!

Eric one again with the Bearhound!

Greg showed off his Ford GT but car judges don't appreciate dirty cars. That's all I can figure.

Speaking of figures...

Greg scored well with his Giesha, I mean how can he go wrong? We talked about this but our cameras do not pick up the colors and artistry that is on display here.

The Tundra crew made it back to our homes in good time and spirits.

Thanks guys, had a great time!

Eric's Sherman is nice, but The Bearhound is just cool! One of the best, most imaginative models to ever grace our 'site!
He took "In Another World" to a whole new level!
I never did get to do Werner Voss' Focke-Wulf TL Flitzer.
Excellent overview! Thanks for posting some pictures!

There were some excellent models on display! I am extremely pleased with my gold medal for Mineko, as she is my first ever show entry. I did not expect my other two entries to do much, but had hopes for her. I am worn out from six hours of riding LOL. It was an almost last minute decision to go as Chris (@yoBabysDaddy) called me at 9pm the night before and asked if I wanted to go. I am glad he drove. It was a long but pleasant day and I am glad I went!

I had decided not to go but on Thursday just said what the hey (more like, "Babe you mind if I go?" :rotf ).

I'm looking forward to the day car guys appreciate dirty vehicles myself.

Those are great pictures! Where did the Piper Enforcer come from? What scale was it? Greg's GT-40 build is very realistic. I wonder why it wasn't awarded. The flaming Me-109E is an eye-catcher!
Thanks for posting some highlights!
