A 1/350 project would make sense. 4.10 inches long X .8 inch beam would be manageable for a boat this size. :bm: Based on SS Whitehorse sales data, such a kit would seem less than popular.

Here's a dandy snap of CGC Orcas. Her afterdeck is a busy place, indeed! This will help with placement of details as the ship nears molding. No, I won't be making any bloody 1/350 Wheelie-bins. Orcas looks as if she is standing out to sea for a cruise of some length. (Credit to Military...

I'll gladly take the 1/350 OHP FFG off your hands. :salute:

Well now, THAT is thought provoking! 120' X 24' beam. Hmm..... 2.057 inches length overall...... Hmm. .0411 inch beam. Hmm. Smaller than 1/700 SS Whitehorse by a bit. Hmm. Is there a broadside profile picture of the old Clifford Sifton, oh renter-of-space-in-head?

2025 Plastic Surgeons Meetings and Other Fun!

We did adverbs and prefixes today! A little girl sneezed and encroached upon my eyebrow. You could say I was encircled. Her laughter was endearing. SEE?! Happy now?

2025 Plastic Surgeons Meetings and Other Fun!

Mark and Donna welcome USS Cobia back to her Manitowoc berth. Her dock evolution was executed in a very efficient fashion. Yesterday at school, I gave Mr. Farrell, the science teacher my bit of sea glass. His lesson was about erosion, deposition and sediment transfer. Having a bit of...

1/350 US Coast Guard Island class 110' Cutter. TLAR Models #425

Following a couple of palate-cleansing projects and lots of resin model favors, the 1/350 110-foot WPB waterline Master progresses without much fuss. I hope to get her to mold before Thanksgiving. :oldguy::salute:

Whitehorse only had the one smokestack, I wonder which boat this one is? It amazes me that these men piloted their stout, little boats up such narrow rapids.

    Hello

Welcome aboard, Babayaga! Are you the Molly Hatchet or KC and the Sunshine Band sort of Boogey Man?

Another TRIP IN AUSTRALIA -Tasmania July/ August 2025 Part 3

Nah. There's vendor in Japan (Fairy Kikaku?) that casts in blue resin. He divides his ships into sections vertically like that. Hulls can be filled and sanded, but the wood decking seam is impossible! Nothing is more irritating than that! His models are unbuildable. I build all my own...

Is AI a good thing :-)

I know what kind of "sausages" he releases. Sign on the wall of the Loo; "Ever see a Muslim float? Stand up and look behind you."

Is AI a good thing :-)

I am not a fan. Bitcoin or AI either one. I don't sell virtual inventory, I am not interested in virtual money. My bills and groceries actually exist in real time. Not only do we have to wonder if a woman is a man or not these days, but now pictures cannot be trusted to be authentic.
