Has anyone ever ordered from Lucky Models?

Its been the same for me. If something is out of stock but 'available' you may have to wait for their next order to go into the manufacturers, which could be a long time. I've had them cancel orders in the past and just use 'store credit next time I want something. The main thing with LM is the...

    Hasegawa 1/48 Hurricane IIC

Thats about as far as I got with my one before tossing the whole thing back in the box.. The fit wasn't as bad as yours but trying to smooth the fuselage/wing on the underside without destroying the fabric 'curve' was beyond me so I doubt it will ever see the light of day again

    Churchill track question

They might be tedious but they are a damn sight easier than the bronco A13 ones, and they look great when they are on the model.

    Churchill frustration

Thanks for that Ron. I believe the unit with the modified churchills is the one that supported the DLI, unfortunately I havent been able to pin down which unit that was and needless to say, I have no idea of WD numbers or unit markings...:-( but thats half the fun.........trying to figure this...

    Daimler Dingo

Most of the weld seams are on the kit, I seem to recall only having to redo some parts after cleaning up the prue attachments. The only additions I made to the kit were the antenna pots (sheet styrene), a No 19 radio (Resicast) and Ultracast petrol cans and ammo box. The brackets for the sand...
