Can anyone help to convert this image?

You may want to look at stlflix.com and their STL AI option.

I've saved your pictures to pass along to my father and the SimonLakeAS33 group. I'm sure they will enjoy these. Thank you for posting.

I am. I have a copy of the original ship plans, deck by deck and have an individual that is superior to me with CAD help out. We are working to get an FDM/Resin printable version designed. Some information I was given about the Lake was that at some point the ship was extended, though I...

An update... I've found an individual that will design the USS SimonLakeAS33. Should have files by the end of Dec. It will be 20-24 inches long and internal desk in the hull. Will have work with them on how much detail will be included from main deck and up. Will keep posted.

Yes 123d, TinkerCAD, FreeCAD are clunky, Fusion has issues too. If I can help later on, just ping.

Well, I got a lead on someone that may be able to model the SimonLake for me. It's going to be a few dollars, but I believe it will be a good model. I've seen some of the previous work the individual has done. Will update as things progress.

If you change your mind, I just got a Bambu P1S with AMS2. It was a 10-15 min setup and I was printing 4 color models beautifully.

I could get you started in 123d. You would need to join Discord and we do walk through builds (like once a week meet). We start with a picture you've found of your part. Grab some calipers, guess some measurements, and throw something at the wall to see if it sticks.

I just saw your Feb 1 post. I'm guessing that door is closed.

Back Aft Models 1/700 USS Simon Lake AS-33 Submarine Tender model kit.

New to the site. I would be interested in getting the files for the AS-33 SimonLake. My father served on it and we have a reunion every year that he helps head. At that reunion we have giveaway prizes which I've participated in making a few. This year he asked if I could do a model of the ship...

I've taught beginners 123d design (yes its still an active old software but was preface for TinkerCAD and Fusion) Also use TinkerCAD, Fusion, Meshmixer, FreeCad, and a little bit of Blender. If someone is starting out geometric, 123d is easy to wrap your head around. Sadly it doesn't have...
