Tamiya P-47's are very nice kits, I like them so much i have two in 1/72 scale but i will buy a few in 1/48 scale. I also have a Revell 1/72 P-47 but Tamiya P-47's are without question the best kits of these aircraft in 1/72.

Box,

Yes this kit is really good. I did one myself, but had to paint checkers on.

looking good, washes are looking good. They are sort of lost in these pictures, maybe it will show up better when built, or might want to put in on a little thicker. I did weathering on a VooDoo a while back, when I did it I thought I had really over done it. Turned out it looked really good in pictures.

Thanks for the comments guys :)

Yes, you are right Moon Puppy ;) on the previous photos wash can not be seen.

Because I later added a mixture of of heavier wash.

Lamp Black and Raw Umber (Reeves Artist oil color).

Weather forecast unpredictable here and I am just getting over a cold  , so my work on P-47 is a little slow.
This is what i done so far.

I added some small details in cockpit,

instrument panel, decals are very nice and in center,
0014.jpg

excellent fit no putty at all, only a few rescribed panel lines.

Primer,

and a coat of future (klear in my case) nice base for alclad.

Hi Dusan, P-47 interior looking really good. Looking forward to more.

You would think that gas mask and canister would help with the allergies... have been suffering myself.

Cheers, Christian B)

Very nice, Dusan. Do you want to build my cockpits from now on? My cockpits not even look that good in 1/48. :notworthy

Joe

What ab awesome idea Joe. I always feel like I'll never get past the cockpit but it's downhill after that.

Group rates ?

Cheers, Christian B)

Thank you for your comments guys! :) Christian, Joe, very kind words of you! ;)

I continued to work on P-47 and I painted a layer alclad,
