There's a sheet of PE in this kit, but yeah, in general I think they do pretty good with plastic at this scale.I'm thinking how much of that stuff would be PE in upgrade sets. These parts look amazing.![]()

I agree, at least with the Das Werk & Takom kits.Yeah, they either get it spot on, or they miss it by a mile. Kind of shows that they don't really have super detail oriented people doing the research and detailing. It isn't even stuff that would make it more complex, it's just that they don't really know the subject they are modeling as well as many of us.
I am. It's interesting that this kit doesn't supply them (Takom's P I ausf A kit had excellent wiring moldings). I haven't came across any pics of how they ran on the real thing, yet. I did find a build video showing the modeler adding them. Whether they are accurate or not Idk. They look right enough, so I'll follow his.Are you going to plumb the lights and horn?
My hull sides had a significant concave warp. I used them to spread the hull straight again. Must be just the luck of the draw as Paul said his isn't warped. My fenders were also warped, but easily straighted out once glued to the hull.I looked back throughthepost but I couldn't find a mention about the white plastic card sections inside the hull. What are these for?
Mine may have gotten cooked at sea in shipping container...For what a guy spends on this model ,NO kit should have any warpage at all.![]()
May want to check out my DML PZ III J build thread, I think they are there.I am. It's interesting that this kit doesn't supply them (Takom's P I ausf A kit had excellent wiring moldings). Thanks! They are there. I have to say I got so mesmerized by the rest of that epic build I almost forgot why you sent me there!May want to check out my DML PZ III J build thread, I think they are there.
I have no idea, but I think it comes up through where the main headlights are mounted. Then onto the fender mounts.Where does that plumbing go into the hull?
I used this pic as a guide line for the Pz III.
