Having visited the Polish Air Force Museum in Krakow, I can post photos of their example but I also have many Polish books on the subject.

I built the Heller 72nd scale kit many decades ago. Then I built the LTD 48th scale kit for a friend. I know that IBG makes the ultimate kit in 32ns scale but this one only needs the Master Models replacement radiators to reach that level unless one also replaces the guns with the Master Models offering.

There is a far more affordable alternative, which I have in my stash and didn't mention since I haven't attempted to build it, the Mirage Hobby Series 10 kits of the PZL P.11 series. I will do a simple photo review but most parts are off the sprues as I tested aftermarket items for it.

This is the one I have and it includes the resin radiator and a PE sheet for around $35USD if you find it from a US seller on evilBay. Click to read about the Mirage kit and how it compares to the LTD:


Buying directly from Mirage in Poland is $100USD shipping for first item and $0.51USD for each additional (not to mention the tariff we must now pay when it arrives)!


This release comes with the resin radiator, the PE, and four resin bombs. Still available on evilBay:


By the way, I also have an AeroMaster decal sheet on the PZL-11 so will gladly send you some alternate markings if you pick up and post a 48th scale PZL-11 (from any manufacturer).

2002 Photographs of the PZL P.11c in the Polish Air force Museum in Kraków, Poland

Note, the aircraft went through an in depth restoration and overhaul afterwards. Yes, my photography sucks but, in my defense, this was the first generation Sony Mavica camera, using floppy disks no less!
