You were right! I sided with the mild 8n tractor "experts" at first, because I wanted to be safe, who said that coil is to hot, however, the "hold my beer" 8n members said run that dragster Accel. It became quite the debate on the Ford tractor forum...haha. I'm running the hot coil...I told you not to mess with that wiring!
I bet that did get heated. Wonder what's down stream from the coil that needs the extra power.
