I started my Trumpeter BMP-1P in anticipation of Canada Poste finally delivering my new Echelon decals of the 101st Battalion at Chechnya.

Many,many years ago I did the now ancient Dragon BMP 1 kit so I'm really looking forward to this build.

Ron this kit is much better than the older Dragon kit. Unfortunately lots of tiny parts.

Okay some more done, its been a good modeling day.

Now if only I could the decal problem fixed I'd be very happy. 2 sets of decals gone missing from 2 different places.

Decals for a 101 Btn BMP-1P from the Chechnyan war.

Bit more done. Going to a model meeting this afternoon where the guys are building a ship. I'll take this and start on the little tiny pe bolt heads for the add on armour on the turret. Wish Trumpeter wouldnt do this. It could have been molded on just as easy.
