German (Insert Long German word here) - Truck

h40d69ab.JPG

Been a while, lots going on here but here's an update.

What had been added since last time:

right side worked on, wire disposal apparatus, medical kit (Verbandkasten was lots of fun writing that word on the case :blink ), the main electrical controls, working on the wiring now.
The lathe had received a name plate (plastic carved with my faithful Dremel) and a WaffenAmt number.

On the other side there is a fire extinguisher and will add more this week - I hope :D

Cheers,

Laurence

Looks great! :good:
And don't worry if there are spots that are darker on the floor, with machines like that you have oil and dust on the ground, so it will miscolour.
:popcorn

Thanks Mats, that's quite what I was thinking - I am still to do a final processing of the whole thing, but that will happen when all the gear is on the truck.

Cheers,
Laurence

This is a model truck carrying a load of model tools! I love the numbering on those little part bins. This whole thing is so much fun- like a tiny mobile modeling workshop. Cheers!

Thanks everybody, appreciate the feedback :notworthy

There will be more weathering, drybrushing etc. More items to be added to that side first, then onto the left side. Working on the tracks too (individual links :blink ) that takes more time than I wanted, but what can you do ....

Cheers fellas,

Laurence

Totally cool! :coolio

Many thanks for the compliments :notworthy

Took couple more pics - more bits in place now, the drum near the lathe, the drill table with drawers sticking out just a bit (there will be some tools inside), couple of jacks (not in place yet), frame started appearing in the left hand side, fire extinguisher in place, have done more weathering on the right hand side to replace the blotches with streaks.
Tracks in position and weathering "begun has" burnt sienna heavier wash than normal.
Heaps more needs doing still :blink
