Figured I'd try my hand at another boat after my attempt at a sub a couple years back...

I have always wondered about this kit Can you show a few more pictures of the sprues please?

Won't get up there again tonight Dave but I'll be sure to when I get up there again...

Oh and I'm a terrible friend Dave as I forgot to take better sprue pics...let it be known-- little if any flash, the same color green as the turret up front, and beautiful details ;)

Working on all the awesome included stowage right now...

Dave it's a great kit. The only weak part I found was the jets, seem like they were over simplified. I found no issues what so ever.

Looking good Mike :popcorn

Yes sir, I'd like to do another and make the wire frame of the canopy. Maybe the palm leaves but not really wanting to do THAT PBR you know.

And nearly there...still have quite a bit of weathering to work out-- but I am in the midst of painting the figgies now. Some great facial expressions on these guys as you'll soon see. Just glued the flag included in the kit to some aluminum foil so I can properly furl it...but here is where the boat is at now which most stowage in place...

Too late to see the decal on top of one of the barrels had shifted...but I already added Sol to it so I'll have to cover it up somehow...

Was wondering-- did these boats ever have pin-up type art on them? There are some great area to add something like that to it but I was curious first...hell-- I might do it anyways ;)

I found this, not a pin up but pretty cool :)

i'm sure there was some creative artists that found inspiration in the Playboy magazines and decorated their boats.

What a loaded question, did they? I think you'd be hard pressed to find them without a pin up somewhere.
