John's 1/72 Challenger 2 "Iraq 2003" MBT

John the Challenger looks good. You can fix that decal just lance it with your knife use Micro-sol and it should settle it down.

Hi John.

Gosh. I take a couple of days off, and everybody goes nuts with building stuff  . The finish is looking real good. And by the time you get to the final pigments, it should look perfect.

Jeepers!!! Less than a week to go.... :eek:hmy:

Still to complete the weathering on the Challenger 2 and working on a simple little diorama. Couple of palm trees done with wire and Tamiya masking tape wrapped around the wire to make up the trunk. Verlinden palm leaves used for the palms.

Just need to add some signage, grass and rocks, and then full paint and weather...

That's it for this build. In the end it was a bit rushed and not everything worked out as well as I had hoped. But it was certainly fun and I was impressed with the quality of these modern day 1:72 scale kits... So when does BSB III start?

Hope you liked the outcome.

Now back to the SturmTiger and the XH&H build. :blink

Hi John.

That is a very nice looking Challenger II. I have liked the look of these since they put the anti dust shields on the side. To me it kind of makes it look like a hover tank  . But they are an awesome tank. And yours is really cool, and your base is great.
