I think sometime during the Iran Iraq war. In that they used as far as I know, M4 105, M36, M36B1, M36B2, M4A3 105, M4A3E8 105

Got the decals the other day in the mail
Worked on aging the road wheels
Started to add casting texture to some of the parts on the suspension
I've done a little more but forgot to take pictures - :idonno

Awesome! I wish I could get Iranian decals like that in 1/72 scale. They do look good.

Most of the suspension together, casting texture was done with liquid cement and an old paint brush
started the casting testure on the turret
Some work done on the lower rear hull. I removed one of the tow lugs and added texture to the rear plate and casting texture to the exhaust

Brilliant work on the casting texture. I also love the County pics. Brings back memories of some of the country I drove through.

Found some cool stuff on sale
I didn't see that they were for the Dragon kit. By the way they don't fit the Academy kit, that's alright I have a couple Dragon kits.
I think I found where the Academy turret looks off to me. So I filled the spot with putty
Started to make the mantlet more a late version, laying on some styrene strips
Putty for punch out marks on the barrel
