From a few days I was wondering with which model I should join to the campaign :hmmm , ultimately I decided the true essence of fighter plane - immortal Supermarine Spitfire :eek:hyeah

This will be quite unusual machine - and of course linked in some way with Malta ... :eek:hyeah

Spitfire Mk.IXC "QP-N", Pilot - Lt. Fred Ohr. 2nd FS, 52nd FG, 12th AF, USAAF; Malta / Sicily, June / August 1943.

This will be the first from the trio of Sicilian mafiosi - others are:
Reggiane Re-2002 as Don Macaroni
Curtis P-40M as Sir Teatime

There is a certain irony that the British aircraft will wear the American marks and American British ;)
