Nice photos and one of them shows the straps but nothing held by them. :hmmm

Thanks, those are great shots James

you have a sideview there, that shows a tarp or something stowed there but not easy to see what it is.

What about range polls?.....

or the gun cover equipment such as the frame parts and tarp.

:hmmm

Roll up a tarp and stick it in there. If we can't find a picture of what's there, creative license applies. :soldier

Pup I don't know how many pictures i've seen that had the chocks stored on the right front fender.

#2 the tarp frame cross bar is too long to fit.

#3 Any tarp or gun cover sure would get nasty under there unless it was in a duffel bag and that could be possible.

It's no big deal I was just wondering
Thanks

Well Tony I've thinking on this but I don't think I would stow anything back there myself . Too close to the dirt. Plus they probably would dig into the ground during operation.

I'd like to know the answer myself :hmmm

I can't see anything there Tony, not that picture but they are too large not to be able to break down. Unless someone can break out the manual on the thing I suppose we can keep guessing...anywho...:popcorn

Oh well lets do something even if it's wrong. (y)

Dug out my DML DS T48 Tracks. I had to remove one link,on the M7 I removed three.

Coat of auto paint so the hobby paint won't flake off.

When dry Tamiya Nato Black applied.

Tomorrow i'll paint the end caps and horns

It's TOO WET to plow and I ain't kiddin :eek:hmy:

Well, I went looking in my library and I do not have TM 9-751 on the M12. Going to my favorite web site to buy the TMs (Buy.com which is now Rakuten.com) I searched under Periscope Films and they do have it on sale (cheaper than Amazon) for $10.85 and it is eligible for free shipping.

Using Google Books for a sneak peek shows that the TM overall images have the empty straps. Stowage is covered in paragraphs 22 and 23 on page 34 (in case you find someone who has the TM).

I believe it to be the stowage area for a foul weather tarp for the gun. An overhead view (Figure 4 on page 5) doesn't show any sockets to mount the tarp hoops so that may be a field modification.

Regards,

Thanks Saul
Surely they had some reason for those to be there??????

Maybe someday huh
Thanks again
