This is the last of the photos, hope you have seen something that you found interesting.

Thanks for following along everyone. Also thanks to those that went and shared their photos. We all saw something different, and we all missed a lot.

Next year is in San Marcos Texas just north of Austin. Plan ahead and maybe more of us can get together for a great time.

Great photos all around Paul but I'm really digging the Kingdom Come Superman towards the end there!

Well, I'm finally able to get some pics posted here. I'll try and get some posted that are not repeats of what Paul posted. I did get one of every 1/72 scale armor and military vehicle entered but I won't overwhelm you with all of them! LOL

EDIT: Restored!

I'll start with some overall shots here:

This is one half of the contest/display room. Strangely enough, I did not get the other half. But you can see from just this half; how huge this room was:

The display table are the ones in front; the contest tables were in the back positioned perpendicular to the display ones.

Then the models, in no particular order. This one in particular I wanted to show as this is what I want to do with my Ratte P.1000 in 1/72 scale. I'll be able to carry more in mine:

There were a lot of hilarious ones in the Humor category. Here's some of them:

Read the sheet next to this. Explains everything....

Some clever Osprey eggs:

I love that one 'nesting'!

This is what happens when you use hot glue:

This won "Best Humor":

This one is hilarious! Mike put 40 different Redneck stereotypes on this Redneck Houseboat based on Jeff "You Might be a Redneck if..." comedian whose last name escapes me:

Moving on, someone else built a 1/72 scale Dora too:

Another great 1/72 scale rendition of a very famous photograph:

Here's a great "What if?" with a Pancake flying over a modified Arizona class battleship:

This was viewed through a window set up to give you the feeling that you were on board this watching it happen. Most impressive!

Sailing ships were very well represented this year. Quite a few incredible masterpieces showed up!

This was a Junior sailing ship made from the Revell snap-tite model kit. They were ten:

Great fireboat. I've been wanting to build one of these:

[div]Here's some more pics, this time some Sci-fi and Real Space. Again, I'll try to post things that haven't been posted before, but there may be some repeats.

I really love the copper shine on this!

1/72 scale Millennium Falcon:

Great interior on it too, all lit up:

This one was close to four feet long... and lit up:

See if you can identify some of the models that went into doing this one:

That's all I can post for now. I'm getting very slow internet speeds so this is getting a bit tough. I'll try to get more up tomorrow.

Post away Mark! I'm glad you took a lot of photos as well. There were several in your post I missed or overlooked. (There Were Just SOOOOOO MANY!) Really enjoyed meeting you there as well!

Thanks Paul! It was a thrill to finally meet you too. I had such a blast meeting people I'd only seen on the Forums.

Here's some more pics, this time some Sci-fi and Real Space. Again, I'll try to post things that haven't been posted before, but there may be some repeats.

That's all I have processed so far. I'll try to upload a few more later on.

Stay tuned.

Wow, some amazing work there! Thanks for posting Paul, congrats on your win!

I particularly like the scratch builds by Bill Bosworth (?) and the Jeep in the crate and the Horten Ho 229 on the trolleys waiting to be restored!

Thanks for the congratulations Warren, though I have to admit that Mark (Duke Maddog), Bob (Moon Puppy), Bob Letterman, and I think one other have also posted photos from the show.

It is really nice to see photos from several different people from a show like this as everyone has a different take on things. There was so much there to check out that everyone missed at least something. No way to take it all in.

Mark, Thanks for your photos my friend! There were a number of those you took that I either didn't notice or just flat out missed.

Thanks Paul. I still have some more to go; I just need to get them uploaded when there's more speed on my internet connection. Stay tuned.
