Seven Trafalgar Class fleet submarines were built between 1977 and 1986. They are being replaced by the Astute Class, the first being retired in 2009. Four boats are still in service with the last scheduled to be retired in 2022. The remaining Trafalgar's have been upgraded with Sonar 2076, reportedly the most advanced sonar system used by any navy. Standard weapon load consists of Tomahawk SLCM's and Spearfish torpedoes.

These boats build up pretty quickly. Two or three hours at the bench and she's nearly done. A few bits of PE to add for hatches and it will be time for paint. Some bits like the propulsor unit, hand rails and periscopes and antennas on the sail will be added after painting.
