Nice work.I can easily picture it in my mind as part of the larger landscape which I only do with realistic looking subjects. Yes...gotta love that gull...or seagail as my daughter calls them.
 
Hi Guys and Girls

Thank you very much for your kind commetns , the Seagull (or whittled chicken as my friend calls it) , seems to be popular , I entered it in a local competition and it was suggested it should be called a Seagull vignette with a Tilly on it! . I still struggle with figures and am in awe of some of figure painters around today . It will be in a forthcoming edition of the Belgian/French/German magazine Art of modelling
